Luke graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2004 and began his professional career working for a national accounting firm. 

A native of Listowel, he returned in 2010 to join Independent Accountants’ Investment Counsel Inc. (IAIC) (now TriCert Investment Counsel Inc. – www.tricert.ca), a portfolio management firm related to Ward & Uptigrove, where he served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. 

In 2016, Luke joined Ward & Uptigrove Wealth Management to begin working directly with individuals and families. He delivers customized financial plans to clients and serves as their guide in ensuring they achieve their financial goals and dreams. 

Luke also serves as a Director of TriCert Financial Group Inc. (TriCert Investment Counsel’s parent company), and was named President of Wealth Management at Ward & Uptigrove in 2022.

Luke enjoys golfing, outdoor activities, and living an active lifestyle. Luke has also served as a Big Brother and was a part of the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex fundraising team.
