Lydia graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and received an Academic Excellence in Accounting Award. She joined Ward & Uptigrove in 2019 as a Junior Accountant in the Business Department and transitioned to the Tax Department in 2021. After enjoying the break from post-secondary for two years, she decided to jump back into courses and obtained her CPA designation in January 2024.
Outside of work, Lydia enjoys staying active – whether it’s a Peloton workout, walking around the river or spending time outdoors with her husband and one-year old. On weekends, you can usually find her at the arena or soccer fields cheering on her nieces and nephews, or relaxing with friends and family.
