Leah graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts and later completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management. She holds her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation from the Human Resources Professional Association and is currently pursuing her Registered Professional Trainer (RPT) certification. Leah joined Ward & Uptigrove in June 2021.
With more than a decade of Human Resources Leadership experience, Leah brings a broad and well-rounded perspective, with experience spanning both the public and private sectors. She is EQ-i 2.0 certified, holds a SLI II certification, and is currently an MBA candidate, further strengthening her ability to support leaders in navigating complexity, change, and people-centered decision-making. As a facilitator, Leah leads Ward & Uptigrove’s Emerging Leaders Development and Next Level Leader Programs, where she partners with organizations to build practical, confident, and self-aware leaders; Leah has supported numerous clients in strengthening their leadership capability and “levelling up” their leadership impact.
