Don grew up in Listowel where he currently resides with his family. He graduated from Conestoga College in 1982 with a diploma in Business Administration Accounting.
After graduation, he pursued a career in furniture sales for over 20 years and was the furniture store manager for 4 years. He then transitioned into the financial sector as a Mortgage Agent. In October 2013, Don joined Ward & Uptigrove as a Staff Accountant in the Business Division.
He is an avid sports fan and was the president of the Listowel Jr. B Cyclones for 13 years. He also enjoys playing hockey, golf, and spends a lot of time cycling.
