Lydia graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting degree and received an Academic Excellence in Accounting Award. She joined Ward & Uptigrove in 2019 as a Junior Accountant in the Business department and transitioned to the Tax department in 2021. After enjoying the break from post-secondary for 2 years, she decided to jump back into courses and obtained her CPA designation in January 2024. 

Lydia enjoys staying active – whether it’s a Peloton workout, walking around the river or spending time outdoors with her husband and one-year old. On the weekends you can usually find her at the arena or soccer fields cheering on her nieces and nephews or relaxing with friends and family.
