Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and qualify new customers
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Prepare and present product proposals
- Customer Account Management
- Manage relationships with existing customers
- Ensure repeat business through excellent service
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Quoting & Proposals
- Provide accurate information to support inside sales team for quoting
- Ensure proposals are aligned with company policies and profitability targets
- Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Collaborate with Operations on delivery and installation scheduling
- Work with Accounting Dept. on billing or collection matters
- Provide customer insights to internal teams
- Compliance & Reporting
- Record sales activity in CRM system
- Adhere to company pricing guidelines and discount structures
- Support marketing and promotional events as required
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- 2–3 years of B2B or customer-facing sales experience, ideally in agriculture
- Proven track record in sales achievement and customer relationship management
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
- Positive, resilient, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to build lasting customer relationships, handle objections professionally, and deliver exceptional service
- Comfortable managing multiple opportunities, taking initiative, and collaborating with internal teams
- Technical aptitude to assess customer sites, interpret layouts, and follow safety protocols
