Electrician (309A)

We are looking for a skilled Construction and Maintenance Electrician (309A) or a senior apprentice to join our busy team. The ideal candidate thrives in physically demanding, hands-on work environments, is safety-conscious and follows strict electrical codes and guidelines.
Based out of Listowel, this role involves installing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems for customers in Listowel, Milverton, Elmira and surrounding areas. This is a full-time opportunity for a current vacancy.

Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installations such as wiring, lighting, panels, control systems and automated equipment
- Troubleshooting and maintenance including diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Reading and interpreting various plans including blueprints, schematics and electrical drawings
- Ensure all work meets Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) regulations and industry standards
- Work collaboratively with other trades, apprentices and supervisors to complete projects on time
- Adapt to various job sites in varying weather conditions
- Travel within coverage areas required
- Provide emergency services, as required
What You'll Bring
- 309A Red Seal Certification (or Senior Apprentice in 4th or 5th year)
- Experience with agricultural, industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Strong understanding of motor controls, VFDs, PLCs and automation
- Valid G driver’s license
- Comfortable with physically demanding work especially in agricultural setting (i.e. around livestock)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote locations
