NetSuite Systems Specialist

Location: 290 Union Street Elmira Ontario. Hybrid work from a home office is available.
Reports to: Project Manager
Classification: Full-time, contract (up to 12 months) with potential for permanent
Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 annually (depending on experience) + health care spending account + eligibility for year-end bonus

Here’s What You’ll Do: As the NetSuite Systems Specialist at Horst Systems, you will play a hands-on role in bringing our ERP system to life. You’ll work directly inside NetSuite to configure, build, test, and support the system that runs our business operations across Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations.

You will work closely with internal teams and external implementation partners to ensure the system is set up correctly, data is accurate, and users are confident using it. Your work will directly impact how smoothly our business runs every day.

In this role, you will also help shape how NetSuite is used long-term at Horst by improving workflows, strengthening reporting, and supporting continuous system improvements after implementation.

Your day to day will look like this:

• Configure NetSuite forms, workflows, dashboards, reports, and system settings
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation across business systems
• Test system functionality and troubleshoot issues during implementation and rollout
• Build saved searches, reports, and dashboards for Finance and Operations teams
• Support system integrations with payroll, banking, CRM, and other platforms
• Provide training and hands-on support to users across the organization
• Document processes, workflows, and system procedures for internal use
• Work with external consultants and internal teams to resolve system issues
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting accuracy
• Support go-live activities, stabilization, and ongoing system enhancements

• Experience working with NetSuite
• Strong understanding of business processes (finance, operations, inventory, or manufacturing)
• Hands-on technical ability and comfort working directly in system configuration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to support and train users in a clear and patient way
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
• Exposure to SuiteScript or system customization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced implementation environment with shifting priorities
• Nerve, grit, and focus to get the job done

Requirements for this position:

• Post-secondary education in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or related field
• 3–5+ years of ERP system experience (NetSuite experience required)
• Experience supporting system implementation, configuration, or ERP projects
• Strong Excel and data validation skills
• Ability to work independently
